Your duties
- Deliver personalized care focusing on preventive, therapeutic, and educational aspects
- Greet and support patients undergoing general surgery
- Coordinate patient movement with the surgical team
- Collaborate with medical and nursing personnel
- Ensure the quality and safety of care in accordance with established protocols
- Oversee post-operative patient care, including pain management strategies
- Engage in educational initiatives for patients and their families
- Manage medication requests and maintain adequate stock levels
- Utilize institutional tracking systems for patient management
- Facilitate training for new staff and supervise students
Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse with an understanding of hospital operations and hygiene standards
- Specialized expertise in general surgery, pain management, and patient education
- Key professional attributes include technical proficiency, compassion, analytical skills, and teamwork
Work involves 7 days a week in 12-hour shifts and Monday to Friday in 7-hour 42-minute shifts.
