About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to join our team at Consort Group, a leading player in the augmented information systems industry. As a System Administrator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational condition and security of our system infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Infrastructure Management: Administer, monitor, and maintain servers and systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure and guarantee the security of our information system, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Incident Resolution: Diagnose and resolve complex technical incidents to ensure maximum service availability and minimize downtime.
- Change Management: Prepare and implement changes to our system infrastructure, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption.
- Project Execution: Contribute to project execution, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.
- Data Management: Perform data backups and restorations to ensure service continuity and data integrity.
- Scheduler Administration: Operate and administer the scheduler, handling resulting incidents and ensuring timely execution of tasks.
- Architecture Design: Participate in designing and implementing new system architectures, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Documentation and Communication: Write and update technical documentation and procedures, as well as communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Technology Watch: Conduct technology watch to propose improvements and anticipate necessary evolutions, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Education: Graduate in Computer Science (Bachelor's degree) with experience as a System Administrator.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows, Linux, Solaris systems and tools like Control-M, Netbackup, EMC, VMWare Horizon, Nagios.
- Database Experience: Experience with databases such as PostGre, Oracle, SQL Server.
- Dynamism and Rigor: Demonstrate dynamism and rigor in your work, with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage stress.
- Analytical Mindset: Possess an analytical mindset and diagnostic capabilities, with a strong ability to problem-solve and think critically.
- Communication Skills: Exhibit strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
