Contexte
L'offre de postdoctorat est ouverte dans le cadre d'un projet interdisciplinaire entre la statistique et la neuroscience. Le postdoctorant travaillera sur l'analyse de données fonctionnelles et le transport optimal pour détecter des anomalies cérébrales et prédire la récupération fonctionnelle chez des patients traumatisés sévères.
Missions
Le postdoctorant sera chargé de:
- Définir une métrique adaptée pour comparer les objets mathématiques issus de l'imagerie par résonance magnétique pondérée en diffusion (IRMd)
- Proposer des résumés statistiques pour des échantillons de tels objets
- Proposer des méthodes de classification non supervisée pour définir des courbes représentatives
- Proposer une solution pour permettre l'analyse en composantes principales d'un ensemble de tels objets
- Développer un cadre statistique pour permettre l'inférence à partir d'un échantillon de tels objets
- Construire des modèles pour prédire le devenir fonctionnel à partir de ces objets
Compétences requises
Le candidat doit avoir un doctorat en statistique ou en mathématiques, ainsi que des connaissances en programmation (R ou Python, C/C++ sera un plus). Il doit également avoir une bonne connaissance des applications en santé et en neuroscience.
Contexte de travail
Le Laboratoire de Mathématiques Jean Leray (LMJL) est une Unité Mixte de Recherche à triple tutelle (CNRS, Nantes Université et Ecole Centrale de Nantes). Il est structuré en 5 équipes et regroupe une centaine de personnes dont 26 Professeurs, 29 Maîtres de conférences, 2 Directeurs de recherche CNRS, 6 Chargés de recherche CNRS, 4 postdoc et 31 doctorants.
