About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Process Engineer to join our team in Rantigny, France. As a Technical Process Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting our Stone Wool plants in the areas of troubleshooting, consultancy, industrializations, upgrades, and implementations of new processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the plants in term of melting process, specially: analysis of the process effectiveness and performance, propose improvement solutions, assist/support/lead small local projects, support in troubleshooting and problem solving, propose and set operational and technical standards, provide dedicated trainings to local staff, industrialization lead/support of new processes & technical solutions, provide technical analysis, calculations, simulations related to dedicated part of the process, support to strategic projects in the area of competence.
  • Collaborate with Process Engineers in the plants, and also with members of the Central teams: DTI, GE (Global Engineering), R&D and others.
Requirements
  • Academic: Engineering schools. Master of Science.
  • Experience / technical competencies: Thermal / Mechanical / Fluid dynamics / Chemistry, previous experience with process & operational subjects in the industrial locations, industrial experience, in the heavy process industries: glass, chemistry, metallurgy, etc.
  • Attitude / soft skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills, for teamwork in an international and multicultural context, analytical and detail-oriented mindset, structured & methodological approach, ability to express oneself synthetically in a format of report, recommendation, autonomy and self-driven attitude, capability to work in a matrix organization as a team leader or as a member of a team, ability to learn new things quickly, TEC behavior (trust, empowerment, collaborative), communicative in English (speaking & writing).
