Position Overview:
The Product Management Division is tasked with overseeing all facets of product management related to L-Acoustics' offerings, which include Loudspeakers, Electronics, Software, Services, and Solutions. This division plays a crucial role in defining product specifications, crafting strategic roadmaps, and managing the entire product development lifecycle from inception to market introduction.
The Head of Product Management for Electronics will spearhead the Electronics segment of Product Management, guiding and nurturing a team of skilled Product & Technology Marketing Engineers and Application Design Engineers focused on our Electronics sector.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate across functions with R&D, Application Project, and Sales-Business Development teams. Specifically, with the assistance of a dedicated team of Product & Technology Marketing Engineers and Application Design Engineers:
- Research and Insights: Establish success metrics, perform market analysis, competitive assessments, and SWOT evaluations.
- Product and Market Strategy: Convert business objectives into product strategies, formulate product roadmaps, and ensure alignment with market demands.
- Product Development and Lifecycle Management: Create comprehensive product specifications, liaise with R&D, assess emerging technologies, and supervise product development.
- Advocacy and Support: Champion products through marketing initiatives, training sessions, and customer engagement activities.
- Key-user Engagement: Interact with key users for market insights and maintain relationships with industry influencers.
- Communication and Reporting: Formulate communication strategies for product roadmaps and updates on release progress.
- Leadership and Team Development: Lead and cultivate a diverse team, establish objectives, and provide training opportunities.
Qualifications for Success:
- A Master's degree in a relevant discipline, such as engineering or business.
- Over 10 years of leadership experience in product management within a dynamic, high-growth, and premium environment, preferably with Electronics solutions.
- Proven experience in managing and developing a team of product managers.
- In-depth knowledge of audio technology and the professional audio landscape.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and foster strong relationships with customers and partners.
- A mindset geared towards market leadership.
- Candidates should be based in regions that facilitate access to our facilities.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
