Procurement Specialist

Our client is a leading player in the distribution and servicing of construction equipment across Africa. With a strong presence in the region, they are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join their team in Luanda, Angola.

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for construction equipment and materials. This will involve researching new suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality products and services.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and negotiate contracts.
• Monitor and analyze supplier performance to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless procurement processes.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 8 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of procurement principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese.
