Technical Accounting Expert - All Genders

Evotec WD is seeking a skilled Technical Accounting Expert to join our Global Accounting team in Lyon or Toulouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of complex accounting topics, transactions, and contracts
  • Answering technical accounting questions for various stakeholders
  • Monitoring accounting and reporting updates, and implementing new standards and regulations
  • Preparation and update of the Group's Accounting Policies
  • Monitoring and enforcement of Policies within the Group
  • Preparation of internal training materials
  • Participation in the external reporting process and ensuring compliance with regulator's guidelines

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in an IFRS context (Big four or Listed Company)
  • Ability to interact with various stakeholders, breakdown complex accounting issues, explain and present them to management
  • Experience of working in an international environment, ideally in Pharma/Biotech
  • Experience with PCAOB Audits and SOx
  • Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills; German, Italian, or another European language is a plus
