Our Technical Team

As a Server-Side Software Engineer, you will be part of a dedicated group of experienced backend developers. Our team utilizes a comprehensive technical stack, including AWS, Django, Jenkins, Ansible, ElasticSearch, Postgres, and Redis, to craft advanced solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Incorporate financial data from diverse sources such as Morningstar, Bloomberg, Reuters, and S&P Capital IQ, along with ESG and Climate data from providers like CDP, ISS, Vigéo Eiris, Trucost, RepRisk, and Clarity AI.
  • Integrate new tools and libraries developed by our Research and Development team.
  • Develop endpoints for our frontend and API services.
  • Create and manage background batch jobs to maintain data integrity.
  • Enhance system performance by optimizing response times.
  • Work on data automation processes, including both batch and real-time processing.
  • Engage in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) monitoring.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, particularly with Python and a REST framework such as Django.
  • Strong understanding of architectural principles relevant to backend systems, including monolithic and microservices architectures, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), event-driven architectures, and Backend for Frontend (BFF) patterns.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, including Extreme Programming (XP), Scrum, or Kanban.
  • A proven track record of writing high-quality, well-tested code and a solid grasp of object-oriented programming.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English or French; a master's degree is advantageous.

Desirable Skills

Experience in financial applications or FinTech, especially in managing time series data, stocks, funds, ETFs, and risk models will be considered a plus.
