As a Logistics Coordinator at TCR International, you will play a crucial role in the movement, distribution, and storage of assets within the organization. You will be responsible for overseeing the transportation of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and negotiating with transport companies and forwarding agents. Your duties will include managing budgets, organizing schedules & routes, handling customs regulations, and ensuring that vehicles are safely (un)loaded and transported and that transports meet legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Organize and administrate shipments, liaise with customers and negotiate with suppliers, and communicate freight transportation information to them;
  2. Recommend optimal transportation modes, cost, routing, and transit times;
  3. Use IT systems to manage delivery times and transport costs;
  4. Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues;
  5. Ensure transport compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery, and implement health and safety procedures;
  6. Meet on-time delivery requirements and follow up on discrepancies with suppliers and local TCR entities.

Requirements:

  1. Typically has 2-4 years of experience in logistics and administration: shipment management in an industrial or project-related environment and in overseas forwarding of project cargo;
  2. Has knowledge of customer export and import procedures and documentation;
  3. Is detail-oriented and very flexible;
  4. Has a continuous improvement mindset;
  5. Has proficient MS Office 360 skills; knowledge of SAP is an advantage;
  6. Communicates effectively with colleagues, suppliers, etc.;
  7. Is fluent in English, Dutch, and French – both spoken and written.
