Research Scientist - AI for Mathematics (PhD) Responsibilities:- Collaborating with academic partners to convert their inquiries into actionable tasks for language models.
- Crafting experimental designs and executing them effectively.
- Overseeing the maintenance of the AI4Maths code repository.
- Currently pursuing or in possession of a PhD in Mathematics, Theoretical Physics, or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree completion is required prior to employment.
- Demonstrated research experience in the application of machine learning within their area of expertise.
- Must secure work authorization in the employment country at the time of hiring and maintain it throughout employment.
- Familiarity with distributed computing environments.
- Proficiency in PyTorch.
- Experience with transformer models.
- Proven ability to tackle complex challenges and evaluate various solutions, trade-offs, and perspectives to determine the best course of action.
- Experience in collaborative and cross-functional team environments.
- A history of achieving notable results, evidenced by grants, fellowships, patents, and publications in prestigious workshops, journals, or conferences.
