About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Director to lead our Africa, Middle East, and Central Asia (AMECA) region. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, managing the accounting network, and implementing Alstom's accounting roadmap.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure strict local compliance with laws and regulations
  • Coordinate audit processes and statutory accounts
  • Manage the AMECA accounting network and community
  • Implement Alstom's accounting roadmap within the region
  • Provide accounting support and expertise to business partners
  • Play a central role in Group Accounting coordination
About You

We value passion and attitude over experience. To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 10-15 years of experience in Finance positions
  • Senior management experience in an audit firm or financial department of a large group, with IFRS expertise and project accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for listed companies and accounting practices within large groups
  • Proven abilities in managing and accounting for long-term contracts
  • Leadership skills to manage and develop teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic environment
