Job Summary
We are seeking a solid Capital Markets Associate with experience in underwriting, investments, and a strong modeling background. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational, communication, and analytical skills and work collaboratively with different finance and accounting groups within the Cloud family of companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the underwriting of new data center investment opportunities and in the asset management of existing data center investments.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models for data center and other development projects.
- Prepare project schedules, budgets, and reporting to support project execution.
- Participate in due diligence activities including title, survey, environmental, geotech, zoning analysis, market studies, etc.
- Support financing and capital markets activities including lender communications, preparing draw requests, cost certifications, financing applications and/or other lender requests.
- Author memoranda to communicate progress, project status, and recommendations to senior management and investors.
- Provide tactical support to the project development team through all stages of the development process including feasibility analysis, entitlements, design process, and construction project management.
Requirements
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Preferably three to four years of investment or underwriting experience in the broader data center sector or commercial real estate.
- Working knowledge of project finance, real estate, and investments.
- Excellent analytical skills and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically, Excel.
- Willingness to travel on occasion.
