About the Role

INRIA is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to contribute to cutting-edge research in explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) applied to marine ecosystem characterization. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with multidisciplinary teams, leveraging advanced machine learning techniques to analyze and interpret large datasets of marine imagery.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive dataset tailored for efficient classification systems in the context of marine ecosystems.
  • Construct a detailed dictionary of relevant sub-concepts, drawing upon existing resources and domain expertise.
  • Collaborate closely with OceanIA researchers based in France and Chile to advance research efforts.
  • Contribute to software development initiatives and knowledge dissemination within the research community.
  • Participate actively in drafting scientific publications and reports, sharing your findings with a wider audience.
