We are committed to building a more sustainable future through responsible practices and innovative solutions. This commitment is reflected in our ambitious low-carbon strategy, which aims to accelerate the ecological transition across all our projects.

Eiffage Génie Civil has been awarded a significant contract by Statens Vegvesen, the Norwegian Ministry of Transport's company, to construct a new section of the E18-E39 urban motorway in Kristiansand. This project involves the construction of a 1.4 km 2x2 lane motorway within a dense urban area, encompassing various structures, track reconstruction, and the redevelopment of existing infrastructure.

Your Role
  • Lead the development and implementation of an environmental sustainability strategy for the project, encompassing areas such as energy efficiency, carbon reduction, ecology, pollution control, waste management, and cultural heritage preservation.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, technical standards, and client expectations regarding environmental performance.
  • Manage the Environment Management System (ISO 14001) and oversee the implementation of mitigation measures to minimize environmental impacts.
  • Collaborate closely with project team members, stakeholders, and the client to integrate sustainability considerations into all aspects of the project.
  • Lead a team of Environment Advisors and support the Permits Assistant and Carbon Manager in their respective roles.
  • Promote environmental awareness and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Your Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
  • Proven experience in managing environmental sustainability on large-scale civil engineering projects.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Norwegian language proficiency is a significant advantage.
