We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Sustainability Strategist to join our team at SCOR. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing our sustainability strategy, working closely with our Group Head of Sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Group Head of Sustainability in developing and implementing our sustainability strategy, including co-leading the final strategic review of public communications.
- Facilitate the setting of clear sustainability objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for SCOR Group, and track and report on progress and impact.
- Conduct ad-hoc research on sustainability-related matters, including climate change and biodiversity, to inform our investment and insurance activities.
- Manage strategic programs related to sustainability, including defining project objectives, timelines, roles, and deliverables, and implementing regular project monitoring.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to integrate sustainability into core business projects, and promote a culture of sustainable practices and ethics.
- At least 15 years of professional experience, preferably in the financial services sector, ideally in the insurance or reinsurance industry or a consulting firm.
- Experience with climate-related recommendations, standards, and reporting frameworks, and an interest in biodiversity-related subjects.
- Strong critical analysis skills, comfortable with both written information and data, and able to communicate clearly and persuasively.
- Fluent in both written and spoken French and English, and proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
