Accounting Standards Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Standards Analyst to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our accounting department, you will play a crucial role in defining and implementing our group accounting policies, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards and French accounting regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the development and implementation of Alstom's group accounting policies, staying up-to-date with the latest IFRS standards and French accounting regulations.
- Provide technical accounting guidance and support to business teams, responding to accounting consultations and providing solutions to complex accounting topics.
- Collaborate with the Consolidation department to prepare position papers and financial disclosures, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Develop and maintain expertise in IFRS standards, anticipating their impacts on Alstom's financial reporting and providing guidance to colleagues.
- Contribute to the update of the Reporting and Accounting Manual (RAM), ensuring alignment with IFRS and French accounting standards.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration, or equivalent combination of training.
- Strong expertise in IFRS and French accounting standards, with a proven track record of implementing and maintaining accounting policies.
- Fluent in English and French, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proactive and autonomous, with the ability to manage priorities and build effective working relationships across multiple sites and functions.
