As the leader of the Civil Status, Elections, and Funeral Services under the supervision of the Deputy General Director of the Population Services Department, you will oversee a dedicated team of 11 professionals while managing the service's budget to ensure efficient operations.
Your role will involve coordinating daily activities and providing support to enhance service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure legal compliance of documents issued by the service, particularly concerning civil status.
- Manage the reception area and oversee the organization and execution of departmental tasks.
- Engage in discussions regarding the reorganization of office spaces.
- Supervise requests for hosting certificates and alcohol licenses.
- Oversee population census operations and maintain accurate voter lists while organizing political elections.
- Handle funeral services, including concession allocations, renewals, and burial arrangements.
- Contribute to the updating and configuration of the citizen space.
- Collaborate with the Deputy General Director on dashboard creation and project management tools.
Required Profile:
With a background in law or a related field, you should possess a comprehensive understanding of regulations governing civil status and electoral law. Previous experience in a similar capacity is preferred, along with knowledge of the regulatory framework applicable to local authorities.
As a proactive manager, you will promote team unity and provide ongoing support to your staff. A commitment to public service, discretion, and strong interpersonal skills are essential attributes for this role. Proficiency in IT tools and specific software (such as Arpège) is required.
