Position Overview

This is a permanent faculty position within the Operations Management and Information Systems Department (MOSI) and the Center of Excellence in Supply Chain Innovation and Transportation (CESIT) at KEDGE Business School.

KEDGE Business School is a distinguished institution with multiple campuses in France and abroad, known for its diverse student body and international faculty. The school is committed to academic excellence and is accredited by prestigious organizations.

The CESIT focuses on addressing the economic, environmental, and societal challenges in the supply chain sector. Collaborating with various stakeholders, including businesses and academic partners, CESIT develops innovative concepts and tools that influence research, industry practices, and education.

The MOSI department encompasses a range of disciplines, including procurement, supply chain, quality management, and information systems. Faculty members are dedicated to providing students with a comprehensive understanding of supply chain management through a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering high-quality teaching at undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate levels.
  • Publishing research in reputable academic and professional journals.
  • Engaging in collaborative research projects with industry and international organizations.
  • Participating in national and international research initiatives.
  • Supervising and mentoring students.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A doctoral degree in Operations/Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
  • Experience in teaching subjects related to Freight Transport, Logistics, Urban Logistics, Customs, and 3PL Management.
  • A strong publication record in Urban Logistics, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience with innovative projects in last-mile delivery and smart cities is advantageous.
  • Expertise in transportation, logistics, distribution networks, inventory management, and sustainable operations is preferred.
  • Proficient communication skills in both English and French, with the ability to teach in both languages.
