Altherm
Altherm, a subsidiary of KS Groupe, is a compact engineering firm comprised of 2 engineers and 5 technicians. It benefits from the robust support of KS Groupe, enabling it to offer a comprehensive suite of construction-related services. The firm is divided into two specialized departments: Fluid and Structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage projects from both administrative and commercial perspectives.
- Design structural projects (including concrete, wood, and metal) during both the design and execution phases, collaborating with clients and contractors. Engage in technical discussions with various stakeholders, including architects and external engineering firms, and participate in internal coordination meetings for group projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and develop preliminary and detailed designs for structures. Perform structural modeling and load calculations. Prepare calculation notes, technical documentation, and specifications. Supervise the work of drafting technicians using Revit and AutoCAD. Suggest variations and optimizations regarding materials, equipment, methods, and construction techniques. Carry out site surveys and participate in site meetings, providing technical support during the construction phase as needed.
Location
This role is based at our headquarters. Occasional regional travel may be necessary.
Contract Type
This is a full-time permanent position with a management role, comprising 40 hours per week, including RTT.

Your Profile
- Experience in a technical engineering firm, particularly in structural engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a structural engineer.
- Possess an engineering degree in civil engineering with at least 5 years of professional experience in an engineering firm. Previous experience in structural engineering for wood, reinforced concrete, or metal structures is essential.
- Strong understanding of structural principles, multi-material expertise (wood, metal, concrete), and familiarity with technical construction regulations. Ability to work independently, adapt to changing circumstances, and possess excellent interpersonal skills. Proficient in office software (Microsoft Office) and CAD/calculation tools. A valid B driver's license is required.
