About the JobAs a Rotating Equipment Engineer, you will manage packages such as Process Gas Compressors, Turbo-Generators, Pumps for Process Fluid or Utilities, Emergency Diesel Generators, and Turbo Expanders. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Issuing technical specifications and requisitions for inquiry and purchase
- Conducting technical bid evaluations of vendor bids
- Performing vendor technical follow-ups
- Reviewing and commenting on vendor drawings for the main packages
- Attending equipment performance tests at vendor workshops
You will work closely with other services (Installation, Process, Electricity, Instrumentation, etc.) as well as Purchasing, Expediting, and Inspection to centralize requests, clarify needs, analyze suppliers' specific deviations, and solve technical problems.
About YouYou are a graduate Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Equipment within the oil & gas or industrial field. You possess strong organizational skills, good communication abilities, decision-making capabilities, and an execution-oriented mindset. Additionally, you can adapt and evolve with ease among various key project stakeholders from different cultures. You are fluent in English and are willing to travel within France and abroad. Mastery of API Codes & Standards related to rotating machinery is a plus.
