We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated quantum information research scientist to join our Research & Development department at Quantum Alliance. As a key member of our theory team, you will be responsible for developing a rigorous approach to computing the energetics of photonic quantum computers in both the short-term and large-scale regimes.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate with our hardware and software teams to design a realistic approach to photonic quantum computing
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in quantum information, with a focus on quantum thermodynamics results
- Conduct high-quality original research and publish in leading international journals and conferences
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related discipline, with a focus on quantum information science and technology
- Experience in quantum thermodynamics is highly valued
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
