Electrical Calculation Engineer

Arabelle Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Generator Electrical Calculation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the electromagnetic and cooling design of upgrades and new build Generators.
Key Responsibilities- Perform generator electromagnetic and cooling calculations to projects and tendering, utilizing analytical and finite element calculation techniques.
- Develop and issue technical specifications to partners, suppliers, and customers during contract execution.
- Ensure timely delivery of documents and services, meeting agreed costs, scope, and quality standards.
- Participate in electrical type tests and factory running tests, providing technical support as needed.
- Respond to customer and site technical questions, presenting customer-facing technical information.
- Support tendering teams and project management with electrical calculation tasks, ensuring seamless collaboration.
- Work closely with other engineering teams in the Nuclear P&L organization, providing support and expertise as required.
- Communicate effectively with the workshop during hand-over and production phases, providing NCR disposition.
- Contribute innovative concept ideas during New Product Introduction (NPI) definition and execution phases.
- Promote teamwork and knowledge sharing within the team, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Adhere to Company policies and guidelines for Nuclear Safety, Environment, Health and Safety, and Product Safety.
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of electromagnetic and thermal calculation of generators.
- Good understanding of rotating electrical machines, particularly generators.
- Training in Nuclear Safety Culture and ITNS-I/ITNS-A management and NS tagging.
- Experience with finite element calculation tools (ANSYS.electrical), Matlab tools, and Product data management (RPDM).
- Good knowledge of Power Plant environment, customers, and partners.
- Understanding of internal and international standards.
- At least 5 years of experience in electrical engineering in product engineering, service, and/or manufacturing.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
