Responsibilities: Apply scientific methodologies and machine learning principles to transform AssessFirst into a comprehensive learning platform, while developing advanced algorithms to forecast job-related results.
To achieve this, your tasks will include:
- Collaborating with behavioral scientists to pinpoint essential data for understanding and predicting human potential and performance;
- Establishing an efficient and automated data collection strategy within the AssessFirst application;
- Utilizing statistical techniques and analytical models to prepare, scrutinize, and uncover trends and patterns in data;
- Designing and implementing robust and innovative machine learning solutions and algorithms for both current and future AssessFirst offerings;
- Assessing the effectiveness, performance, and constraints of the developed algorithms;
- Producing production-ready code for seamless implementation by our development team;
- Collaborating with our engineering team to deploy and scale the models effectively;
- Contributing to the enhancement of our data science pipeline from initial exploration to final production;
- Staying informed about advancements in scientific research and other valuable sources to identify emerging trends in machine learning methodologies.
You will be integrated into the Science team, which includes Emeric (Head of Science), Konrad (Psychometrician), and Jianqiu (Data Engineer). You will also work closely with the entire product and engineering teams.
Required Qualifications- Proficiency in both English and French
- Familiarity with search engines/recommender systems, and knowledge in Natural Language Processing (NLP)
- Expertise in Python (knowledge of R is an advantage)
- Experience with machine learning libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Spark/MLlib
- Understanding of Elasticsearch
- Experience with AWS
