Junior Social Media Content Creator

Become an integral part of SMG's General Marketplaces (GM) division, which encompasses the brands Ricardo and others. We are in search of a talented (Junior) Social Media Producer to enhance our marketing efforts by focusing on content creation for platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
Your mission aligns with ours: to advocate for a circular economy and establish second-hand products as the preferred choice for consumers in Switzerland. As a crucial member of our team, you will represent our French-speaking social media channels and significantly contribute to engaging our audience across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce captivating video and image content tailored for our French-speaking audience in Romandie (western Switzerland).
- Conceptualize, script, film, and edit diverse video content, including trend videos, tutorials, and product showcases.
- Create visually appealing graphics and images to complement social media posts.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with the overall brand strategy and messaging.
- Stay informed about social media trends and integrate them into our content strategy.
- Engage with our audience in Romandie through comments, messages, and live interactions.
- Keep abreast of the latest social media features, algorithms, and best practices.
Essential Requirements:
- Fluency in French (both written and spoken) is essential
- Strong proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- A basic understanding of German is a plus
- Comfortable appearing on camera and engaging in public speaking
- Skilled in video and image editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, etc.)
- Creative thinker with exceptional storytelling abilities
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Passionate about social media and keen on staying updated with industry trends
