Automation Systems Engineer

About the Role:
Symrise is a global leader in the pet food industry, providing high-value solutions that improve animal well-being and owner satisfaction. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless integration of control and command systems across our global locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure links between field requirements, MES system prerequisites, and IT services to guarantee smooth integration of the control and command system at all sites.
- Manage the modification of the automation program through associated service providers, ensuring the application of best practices and communication and programming standards.
- Monitor the coding of external service providers and the testing of standard and security functions.
- Validate test protocols to qualify PLCs (Automates) and technical documentation.
- Support factory functional tests, depending on the level of complexity of the project.
Requirements:
- Experience with SIEMENS automation and WinCC supervisor programming software.
- Fluent English mandatory, French or other languages an advantage.
- International travels 25-30% for onsite projects.
