Michelin Oy, a leading tire manufacturer, is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Senior Engineer to join its team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement risk prevention plans to ensure safety requirements are met, including LOTOTO, HV/LV power distribution systems, and compliance with work and equipment standards.
- Ensure machine availability, reliability, and performance related to substations, power distribution systems, machines, and applications in the plant.
- Conduct root cause analysis, develop corrective actions, and execute maintenance activities to prevent recurring problems related to electrical engineering.
- Implement cost-effective solutions for breakdown, corrective, and preventive maintenance, and ensure energy efficiency in each area.
- Prepare technical documentation and instructions for machinery, including safety, quality, and work procedures, and update the CMMS system.
- Apply maintenance instructions and operational procedures for setting, commissioning, adjustment, calibration, and machine maintenance activities.
- Ensure availability of critical spare parts, equipment, and updated data in the SAP system.
- Support OPEX/CAPEX projects relevant to the role and drive maintenance-related initiatives, such as RCM, CMMS, and FMEA, to ensure sustainability.
- Develop maintenance skills through tutoring, coaching, training materials, and assistive devices for technicians.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 6 years of related experience, preferably in a manufacturing organization.
- Experience in high-voltage operating devices and safety protocols.
- Experience in electrical distribution system designing and maintenance is required.
- Project management experience, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting, is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Sinhala, and good interpersonal relationship skills.
