Chief Technology Officer

We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Technology Officer to lead our technology strategy and drive innovation in the Information Technology industry. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for aligning technology and business strategy to drive the success of our rapidly growing company.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy to drive business growth and innovation
- Lead a team of technical experts to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge technology solutions
- Collaborate with the executive board to ensure technology strategy is aligned with business objectives
- Manage and optimize technology infrastructure, including cloud services, data analytics, and cybersecurity
- Identify and evaluate new technology platforms and trends to drive profitability and company value
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
- Over 10+ years of experience in data/software engineering, ideally with 5+ years in a CTO position
- 5+ years of experience building, growing, and managing software engineering teams
- Strong engineering background, with a solid understanding of Java, PHP, NodeJS, React, AngularJS, Cloud Services, Web app frameworks, and SQL
- Streaming data experience, preferably Kafka
- Working knowledge of Kanban and Agile methodology, built around JIRA
- Working experience with cloud infrastructure operations and architecture, mainly AWS, containers/Kubernetes
- Experience managing engineering teams around product and or functions (UI/API/Data/Architect)
- Demonstrate optimism, passion, and inspire trust, respect, and motivation from all those around you
- Curious nature that continually strives to learn, understand, and provide solutions and improvements
- Fluent in English
- Ability to converse in other languages would be a plus
- Knowledge in crawling technologies and Machine Learning is a plus
- Willingness to travel one day per week is a plus
