We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Commercial Lawyer to join our team at TOTAL Deutschland GmbH.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to our business units, particularly in the areas of contractual negotiation, business development, and compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist subsidiaries and business units with their business development and partnerships
- Draft and negotiate contractual agreements, including purchase and sale of products, distribution, partnerships, and digital developments
- Ensure legal certainty, advise, and monitor compliance with regulations
- Work with management committees of business units to deliver legal analyses, contracts, and handle disputes
- Develop and implement training and awareness-raising initiatives for entities being monitored
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business law, with a degree in higher legal studies abroad and/or commercial training at a business school or equivalent. Fluency in French and English is essential, with knowledge of Common law being a plus.
At least 6 years' experience in a company and/or law firm with expertise in contractual negotiation in the industrial sector is required.
