We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated research scientist to join our team at Quantum Alliance. As a research scientist, you will be responsible for developing new methods for benchmarking our quantum processors and mitigating the effects of noise.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop benchmarking techniques compatible with photonic information processing
- Collaborate with the hardware and software teams to implement error mitigation strategies
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in quantum information, with a focus on benchmarking and error mitigation techniques
- Conduct high-quality original research
- Publish in leading international journals and conferences
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related discipline, with a focus on quantum information science and technology
- Proven track-record of high-quality research in at least one of: Photonics, Quantum optics, Mathematics, Computer science, Quantum information, Quantum computing
- Ability to lead projects, identify relevant research directions, and propose pertinent technical questions
- Ability to take initiatives and work effectively both independently and within teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Coding experience
