Senior Program Manager, Disaster Spiritual Care Specialist

As a Senior Program Manager, Disaster Spiritual Care, you will lead the national Disaster Spiritual Care (DSC) program, ensuring the development, dissemination, and oversight of policies, tools, training, and metrics to enhance program efficacy and efficiency. This role requires a deep understanding of disaster relief operations and the ability to collaborate with staff across Disaster Services to integrate DSC program components with other programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategies to improve program outcomes and volunteer engagement.
- Provide subject matter expertise on disaster spiritual care to staff and volunteers.
- Collaborate with the field to recruit, train, and engage Disaster Spiritual Care volunteer leaders.
- Develop and maintain partner and stakeholder relationships to support the execution of Disaster Spiritual Care services.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
- Master's degree in Divinity, Theology, or a comparable academic discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment in complex situations.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Intermediate level proficiency with MS Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Training in Clinical Pastoral Education and Board Certification in the Association of Professional Chaplains, National Association of Catholic Chaplains, or National Association of Jewish Chaplains.
- Experience engaging and leading volunteers.
- A minimum of 2 years of program management experience.
