Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior iOS Engineer to join our mobile team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our mobile platform architecture, collaborating with other Product Engineering teams to build user-facing products and features, and driving sound, data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Develop software solutions for medium to large-scale product engineering projects, prioritizing business goals and customer needs.
- Be a steward of quality, scalability, and performance, defining and working on projects to ensure a solid foundation for our customers and team.
- Lead complex projects, collaborating with product managers and designers to shape and define features, balancing technical concerns, business goals, and user impact.
- Improve engineering velocity by adhering to best practices and frameworks, enhancing coding efficiency and quality across the team.
- Proactively identify and diagnose quality issues, rapidly deploying code to address them.
- Drive data-driven decision-making, analyzing data insights to uncover opportunities to improve the customer experience.
- Promote excellence in engineering process and culture, mentoring peers and junior engineers, and collaborating effectively with technical and non-technical functions.
- 5+ years of professional experience with iOS in a fast-moving team setting.
- Deep technical knowledge of the iOS development ecosystem, standard architectural patterns, and frameworks, including expertise in Swift and SwiftUI.
- Confidence in onboarding yourself to a project and operating with little guidance, knowing when to ask for help.
- Comfortable consuming REST APIs and using standard tools like GitHub, Apple App Store, and common analytics tools/logging tools.
- At least limited understanding of legacy iOS technologies, including UIKIt, storyboards, Objective-C, or RxSwift.
- Familiarity with modern cloud-based web architectures is a plus.
