ABOUT THE ROLE

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Supply Chain and Sustainability Lead at Kraft Heinz. This position is pivotal within our organization, collaborating with a dynamic team and reporting directly to the Head of S&OP and Logistics in France. The role involves engaging with senior management and concentrating on achieving results and fostering continuous enhancement within the French Business Unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Distribution Oversight: Manage our distribution framework for Retail and Away From Home sectors. Ensure that warehouse capacity aligns with business requirements and oversee the annual logistics budget.
  • Transportation & Repacking Management: Uphold transportation and repacking standards to meet Kraft Heinz expectations. Track logistics metrics, evaluate haulier performance, and collaborate with the European procurement team on tenders.
  • Cost Optimization: Propel cost efficiencies through supply chain initiatives. Lead projects to ensure savings and benchmark industry best practices.
  • Sustainability Initiatives: Formulate and spearhead the ESG strategy, concentrating on reducing carbon emissions and minimizing supply chain losses. Act as a representative for Kraft Heinz France in external ESG forums and cultivate new partnerships.
  • Team Leadership: Direct and nurture a team of specialists. Contribute to the French supply chain leadership team and facilitate the organizational and personnel review process.

This role presents an opportunity to significantly influence our logistics and sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications:

Candidates must possess an EU Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included) to be considered for this position.

Required Skills:

  • Degree in Economics or Business Administration with a focus on logistics.
  • Proven experience in warehousing and distribution is essential.
  • Experience in other supply chain functions (planning, customer service, manufacturing) is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with FMCG, Retailers, and 3PLs.
  • Proficiency in French and a good command of English.
  • IT proficiency: Excel, Data Visualization tools (Tableau, PBI), and SAP.
