SOFREGAZ SAS is a leading international engineering company specializing in natural, liquid hydrocarbons, and new energies such as hydrogen. We are recognized worldwide for our expertise in LNG solutions and are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to strengthen our teams and participate in international projects for the design of LNG and gas facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Design electrical distribution systems for industrial plants, from high voltage to low voltage, including power generation and network monitoring.
- Prepare general and particular specifications.
- Sizing of electrical material based on network calculations.
- Design of earthing, power, and lightning systems, including cable trays, cable routings, and substation layouts.
- Management of subcontracting studies, including lightning protection and cathodic protection.
- Preparation of technical bid tabulations of supplier bids.
- Review and commenting of supplier documentation, liaising with other disciplines.
- Interface with suppliers and focal point for other disciplines with suppliers.
- Preparation of general specifications and bill of quantity for construction subcontracts.
- Master's Degree in Engineering with a major in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in Oil & Gas Engineering is a must.
- Knowledge of the LNG and gas area is a plus.
- A previous experience on the site in construction and/or operation is a plus.
- Knowledge or experience in the supervision of the software ETAP is mandatory.
- Autonomous, dynamic, and reactive.
- Knowledge of English and French is required. A third language (Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese in particular) can be a plus.
- Mobile in France and abroad for short-term business trips.
