About the Role

Framatome is seeking a highly skilled Ergonomics Engineer to join our team as an Organizational and Human Factors Specialist. As a key member of our I&C Business Unit, you will be responsible for implementing and executing Human Factors (HF) initiatives in various projects, including design, modification, decommissioning, and safety re-examination.

Main Activities

• HF Analysis: You will participate in the development and execution of HF analyses in projects, producing deliverables such as the Human Factors Integration Plan (HFIP), HF Analysis Note, Justification Note, Specification Note, and Event Analysis Note.

• Error Analysis

• Human-Machine Interface (HMI): You will be responsible for HMI aspects in design projects, including allocation of functions, specifications, prototyping, user testing, expert analysis, and more.

• Health, Safety, and Prevention: You will work with our prevention services team to update documentation, participate in safety meetings, and contribute to the integration of HF in safety analyses and re-examinations.

• Training: You will be responsible for delivering HF training sessions in English and French.

• Proposal Writing and Technical Documentation

In addition to these tasks, you may also participate in R&D workshops and contribute to the development of HF expertise within the I&C Business Unit.

About the Job

You will work in a multidisciplinary team and maintain close relationships with the HF team, process engineers, system engineers, control-command engineers, partners, clients, and regulatory authorities.

This role requires a high level of autonomy, flexibility, and adaptability. You may be required to travel within France or internationally for project-related activities.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Ergonomics, Human Factors, or a related field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in Axure, Adobe XD, Captiv, SketchUp, Catia, and SolidWorks

Language Skills

• English (operational proficiency)

• German (intermediate level)
