PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The main duties of the Information Security Assurance Specialist include:
Assist the Group Operations Security / Information Security Executive Manager in fulfilling departmental goals.· Contribute to the Information Security Assurance Framework Process (ISAF),
üPlan and oversee the execution of Security Controls effectiveness evaluations based on AXA's Information Security Assurance Framework
üAssess compliance and effectiveness of security measures implemented on AXA GO products and processes
üCollect and verify relevant artifacts and evidence
üConduct Primary Security Assurance to monitor remediation actions and finalize the control assessment across all AXA GO divisions and Products
üProvide assurance reporting to Product Managers
· Participate in the continuous improvement initiatives for ISO27001 within GO
üContribute to and deliver the KPI strategy and the underlying ISO KPI framework
üImplement the Security Controls Measurement Process
§Conduct KPI measurement and reporting (Execution and Reporting Phases)
§Review these reports with Group Operations Security Officers and Group IT department heads
§Evaluate the appropriateness of defined KPIs (Scoping and Design Phases)
üEngage in the annual ISO 27001 Maturity assessment (self-assessment or external)
üAddress and track deficiencies identified during the ISO 27001 Maturity assessment
Candidate ProfileQUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Educational Background & Certifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• A Master's degree in Information Security is preferred but not mandatory.
• ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor certification is highly desirable.
Relevant Work Experience
·Minimum of 7 years of experience in information security
·Demonstrated experience with ISO27001/2 and/or related security standards is advantageous but not required
·Experience in Information Security Auditing is strongly recommended
·A technical background in information security is highly recommended (e.g., Penetration Testing)
·Experience in the Financial Services sector is preferred
Skills / Abilities
·Ability to navigate effectively in a decentralized and politically complex corporate environment
·Capability to evaluate the implementation and operation of security controls (Design effectiveness testing and Operational effectiveness testing)
·Ability to work effectively within a matrix organizational structure
·Team-oriented approach
·Strong time management skills, especially under tight deadlines
·Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify key issues clearly.
·Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
·Fluency in English
