About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Scientific Software Developer to join our Data, Software, and DevOps team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Developing, optimizing, and maintaining software solutions for risk modeling, data collection, and visualization.
- Supporting the implementation of continuous integration and continuous development (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement data storage solutions.
- Ensuring the security and integrity of our data and systems.
As a Scientific Software Developer, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and developing software solutions for risk modeling, data collection, and visualization.
- Implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software deployment.
- Collaborating with data scientists to design and implement data storage solutions.
- Ensuring the security and integrity of our data and systems.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, or Java.
- Experience with Docker, Git, and Linux.
- Good knowledge of scientific domains, such as climate science or physics.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
