Eviden, a global leader in data-driven digital transformation, is seeking a skilled High Performance Computing Systems Engineer to join its Big Data & Security division. As a key member of the admin lab team, you will be responsible for installing, administering, and maintaining development servers used by R&D teams working on HPC and AI. Your mission will be to ensure the up and running status of all lab infrastructure and HPC & AI clusters, install and update software, firmware, and hardware, and evolve system and infrastructure architectures to accommodate new hardware. You will also assist developers when they encounter availability issues on the lab and drive the improvement of products developed by the Software R&D team. With a higher education degree in Systems and Networks oriented Computing, you have experience in Linux Administration and master technologies such as Linux Operating System, Scripting, Network administration, Configuration management, Virtualisation, Containers, Data base, Monitoring, and Backup. You use version management tools and are able to integrate into an R&D team in an Agile context. Knowledge of HPC, Slurm, Luster, and storage is a plus. You have an appetite for hardware and are positive, constructive, and known for your team spirit and natural leadership. Curious and dynamic, you know how to be proactive and have fluent technical English.

Your key responsibilities will be:

Systems monitoring and ensure the up and running status of all the lab infrastructure and HPC & AI clusters

Install, update and configure the Software, Firmware and Hardware

Evolve system and infrastructure architectures to accommodate new hardware

Assist developers when they encounter availability issues on the lab

Be a driving force for the improvement of the products developed by the Software R&D team

Requirements:

Higher education degree in Systems and Networks oriented Computing

Experience in Linux Administration

Master of Linux Operating System, Scripting, Network administration, Configuration management, Virtualisation, Containers, Data base, Monitoring, and Backup

Use version management tools

Ability to integrate into an R&D team in an Agile context

Knowledge of HPC, Slurm, Luster, and storage is a plus
