Join Our Team as a Senior Software Engineer Backend

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer Backend to join our team at Shippeo. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our server-side application logic using PHP Symfony in an event-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable server-side application logic using PHP Symfony.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to design and implement performant and scalable APIs.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth and development of our engineering team.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure that all code meets our high standards of quality and maintainability.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in PHP Symfony and other relevant technologies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on backend development.
  • Proven expertise in PHP Symfony, with a deep understanding of its architecture and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
