At IDEMIA, our Smart Identity Business Unit harnesses advanced cryptographic and biometric technologies to establish a secure and unique identity for individuals globally.
Objective
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to guide governmental clients in the creation and deployment of personal documentation systems (such as passports and ID cards), ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, within budgetary constraints, and uphold the highest quality standards.
This role will have an international scope, with a significant emphasis on the LATAM region.
Key Responsibilities
As a Technical Project Manager, your contributions will include:
- Establishing project development strategies, including roadmaps, timelines, cost assessments, resource allocations, and documentation.
- Gathering and documenting project requirements through engagement with stakeholders.
- Overseeing project progress in relation to scope, timelines, budgets, quality benchmarks, and regulatory requirements.
- Conducting risk assessments and managing mitigation strategies.
- Providing clear vision and direction to all stakeholders, including technical teams and both internal and external clients and partners.
- Assisting business teams as necessary in the preparation of proposals, demonstrations, and product presentations.
- Developing, managing, and executing the development plans for one or multiple projects totaling over 30,000 hours.
Candidate Profile & Additional Information
Success in this role requires:
- Proficiency in both Spanish and English.
- Technical expertise in various international projects with a strong focus on systems.
- A comprehensive understanding of the project lifecycle, with strong management and organizational skills (familiarity with Agile methodology).
- A willingness to travel, averaging one week per quarter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in pre-sales activities.
- Background in IT security.
- Experience in the ID or personal documentation sector.
