Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI/ML Engineer to lead the development and implementation of AI strategies to address key business challenges and opportunities. The successful candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and software development, with a proven track record of delivering tangible results and measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy sophisticated machine learning models to optimize processes and improve decision-making.
- Utilize deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) for complex problem-solving.
- Implement advanced techniques such as reinforcement learning, neural networks, and ensemble methods.
- Oversee the deployment and maintenance of AI models in production environments using MLOps best practices.
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of AI solutions through effective use of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Leverage containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) to manage and scale AI applications.
Requirements:
- ~3-5 years of hands-on experience developing and deploying machine learning models in industrial or production environments.
- ~ M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in deploying frameworks for responsible AI/ML and leveraging these techniques for tasks such as natural language processing, image generation, anomaly detection, and optimization problems.
- Leadership and Strategy:
- Lead the development and implementation of AI strategies to address key business challenges and opportunities.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Collaborate with senior management to align AI initiatives with business objectives.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch).
- Experience with cloud computing (AWS, Azure).
- Proficiency in data visualization tools and SQL.
- Experience with MLOps practices.
- Knowledge of Rust programming language, LangChain, LangServe, and Langraph & steel industry is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, leadership, and ability to collaborate with multi-cultural and multi-located teams.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Community Engagement:
- Active participation in Python, AI, ML, and ESG communities.
Certification:
- Certification in Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure AI Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect).
- Certification in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
