Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Parts & Distribution professional to join our team in Paris. This role involves managing the receipt, issuance, and ordering of parts for in-house aircraft, as well as coordinating repair orders with external facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Receive and log all aircraft parts and kits from suppliers.
  2. Issue parts and kits to the shop floor, assisting mechanics with their requirements.
  3. Manage outside orders from customers and prepare parts for shipment, requiring proficiency in reading parts catalogs and understanding warranty versus exchange situations.
  4. Monitor back orders and coordinate with suppliers.
  5. Assist in routine and special inventory counts and issue purchase orders for supplies needed in the parts room.
  6. Support the billing process for customers regarding repairs and freight.
  7. Administer all consignment and exchange programs.
  8. Perform other related duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a general understanding of aircraft parts and blueprint reading.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in aircraft parts management is essential.

Skills:

• Proficient English communication skills.

• Ability to read, comprehend, and analyze illustrated parts catalogs.

• Capability to interpret overhaul manuals and aircraft engine manuals.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain an airport security badge as required.

• Familiarity with SAP and LAWSON systems.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
