About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as an Educational Monitor at our Maison d'enfants Saint-Joseph - unité de vie Calypso in Eysines, France.

The Establishment:

Our Maison d'enfants Saint-Joseph is a residential care facility that provides a safe and nurturing environment for approximately 250 young people. Our team of experienced professionals works closely with families and local authorities to ensure the well-being and development of our residents.

The Team:

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working closely with our Chef de service éducatif, éducateurs, and other professionals to provide comprehensive support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accompany and support young people in their daily lives, promoting autonomy, socialization, and responsibility.
  • Develop and implement educational projects and activities that cater to the needs and interests of our residents.
  • Participate in group care sessions, including mealtimes, outings, and other activities.
  • Contribute to the development of individualized care plans, providing regular observations and insights to inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure seamless care and support for our residents.

Requirements:

  • Diplôme d'Etat de Moniteur Educateur (DEME) or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in youth care and education, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Experience in developing and implementing educational projects and activities.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing youth care and education.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
