An international insurance firm is seeking a Senior Consultant for Process Optimization.
As part of the Process Reengineering Center of Excellence (CoE), the Senior Consultant will focus on enhancing processes utilizing established methodologies and principles.
Within the Chief Transformation Officer (CTO) division, the Process Reengineering CoE was created to promote efficiency and expedite innovation through digitalization and automation, while reinforcing the controls' framework to mitigate operational risks.
Position Overview
The CTO division serves as a robust capability that emphasizes execution with a focus on value realization, assisting each executive function in designing and executing transformational initiatives and key projects while guiding the overall transformation process.
The Senior Consultant, a vital member of the team, will implement process improvement and reengineering methodologies and principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive support to the organization on all aspects of process optimization, emphasizing process simplification, standardization, and automation, while considering the role of controls and their potential for prevention and automation.
- Implement the established Process Management Framework and a unified approach to Process Reengineering throughout the organization, including methodologies, BPMN language, Process Taxonomy, and tools through targeted process reengineering initiatives, training, communication, and change management support.
Main Duties
- The main duties of the Senior Consultant include, but are not limited to:
- Engaging with all management levels and collaborating with various departments to comprehend their specific process requirements and challenges.
- Conducting thorough evaluations of existing processes and KPIs, documenting current processes, managing and analyzing data, and proposing enhanced business processes.
- Offering expertise based on prior experience in training and technical assistance, business process analysis, change management, and other performance improvement strategies.
- Advising senior leaders on the most effective and efficient resource utilization to ensure positive and measurable outcomes.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures essential for supporting Operations processes.
- Facilitating the further development and evolution of the process management framework and feedback loops with business/process owners to foster a continuous improvement mindset and effective collaboration.
- Supporting the implementation of operational KPIs and reporting/monitoring mechanisms to provide visibility, manage change, and effectively interact with staff and senior leadership using data.
- Overseeing process reengineering timelines, coordinating with stakeholders and other internal partners to ensure value-added delivery within agreed timelines.
Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and nurture a mindset of innovation and ongoing enhancement.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Master's Degree.
- 8-10 years of experience in business analysis, business improvement, performance measurement, or project implementation.
- Proven track record in reengineering business processes and driving adoption across an organization or department.
- Strong understanding of business process streamlining methodologies.
- Experience in implementing continuous improvement processes.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, coaching, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts for effective execution.
- Accreditation in Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Bizagi.
- Fluency in English, either bilingual or native.
