We are seeking a Skilled Welder / Metal Technician (M/F) for our esteemed client, IHL BOURG, who specializes in bespoke vehicle body construction. The Welder/Metal Technician will play a crucial role in the fabrication and assembly of body components utilizing advanced welding methods.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Interpret and understand manufacturing blueprints
  • Weld, assemble, and fine-tune components on both new and pre-owned chassis and bodies
  • Prepare and clean parts prior to welding
  • Ensure that the assembly of components adheres to specifications or directives

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Repair, cut, heat, or install reinforcements, or modify components on pre-owned chassis and bodies

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and expertise.

A valid driver's license and personal transportation are necessary.

Candidate Profile

TECHNICAL/TRANSFERABLE SKILLS

  • Familiarity with various metals
  • Understanding of workplace safety regulations and accident prevention

SKILLS

  • Proficient in reading technical plans and documents
  • Skilled in using measurement tools, jigs, torches, electric saws, grinders, sanders, etc.
