As a Security and Compliance Solutions Architect at ENGINEERINGUK, you will play a key role in building technical relationships with customers of all sizes and operating as their trusted advisor, ensuring they get the most out of the cloud at every stage of their journey.
You will manage the overall technical security relationship between ENGINEERINGUK and our customers, making recommendations on security, compliance, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency to accelerate their challenging projects.
Internally, you will be the voice of the customer, sharing their needs and wants to inform the roadmap of ENGINEERINGUK security services and features.
In this role, your creativity will build effective design patterns addressing customer challenges, with the opportunity to define or invent cloud-native reference architectures for a variety of use cases.
You will participate in the creation and sharing of best practices, technical content, and new reference architectures (e.g. white papers, code samples, blog posts) and evangelize and educate about ENGINEERINGUK technology (e.g. through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos, or conferences).
If you can educate ENGINEERINGUK customers about the art of the possible, while challenging the impossible, come build the future with us.
You will also have to manage the relationship with selected top Security partners of ENGINEERINGUK, including ISV and GSI.
You will be asked to lead some of the key team initiatives, including connecting to other geos security teams to create synergies and share best practices.
This role is within the EMEA organization and you would be working predominantly with Enterprise customers.

This role will specifically focus on the security and compliance aspects of ENGINEERINGUK Services and on helping our customers and partners build innovative and secure Solutions and Businesses.
As a Security Specialist Solutions Architect (SA), you will help customers select the technologies that will support their business requirements.
Part of the Specialist Solutions Architecture team, you will work to enable large-scale customer use cases and drive the adoption of ENGINEERINGUK for their platforms.
You will interact with other SAs, providing guidance on their customer engagements by developing white papers, blogs, reference implementations, and presentations to enable customers and 3rd parties to fully leverage the ENGINEERINGUK platform.
You will also create field enablement materials for the broader SA population, to help them understand how to integrate ENGINEERINGUK solutions into customer architectures.
Candidates have a mix of communication and technical skills, and will have the ability to engage with customers at different levels in the organization, from executive to developer.
You will get the opportunity to work directly with senior engineers at customers, partners, and ENGINEERINGUK service teams, influencing their roadmaps and driving innovation.

Basic Qualifications- Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
- Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
- Background in any of the following: Security Architecture, Compliance frameworks, Security Operations, or DevSecOps
- Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
- Experience working with ENGINEERINGUK technologies from a dev/ops perspective
- Indepth working knowledge in technology domain such as data protection, threat detection, incident response, edge security, identity management, and compliance
- Managing a certification or accreditation (PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, C5...)
