Position Overview
The role of the Safety Engineer is vital in maintaining the integrity of operations in line with safety and criticality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee ongoing operations, provide support to personnel, facilitate training sessions, validate activities, and promote knowledge sharing.
- Conduct and supervise additional criticality assessments to support specific demonstrations that fall outside the established guidelines of the facility.
- Revise operational documentation and perform comprehensive analyses to ensure compliance with safety and criticality regulations.
- Collaborate with operators, the safety department, and regulatory bodies to thoroughly update the facility's safety and criticality protocols.
Candidate Qualifications
- Possess a Master's degree (BAC+5) or equivalent in fields such as general physics, safety, criticality, neutronics, or atomic engineering.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in nuclear safety is preferred, although recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Exhibit strong organizational skills, attention to detail, analytical thinking, creativity, teamwork, and accountability.
- Participation in national security initiatives necessitates a background check for all employees.
