Institut Mines-Télécom is seeking a talented PhD researcher in energy and environment to join our team. As an energy engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative photovoltaic/thermal solar systems, incorporating pyroelectric components to improve energy efficiency.
Your key tasks will involve conducting research on PVT systems, proposing integration configurations, and analyzing energy performance using finite element software. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of a test bench and laboratory prototype, and optimize integration architectures.
We require a highly motivated and organized individual with a strong background in energy, thermodynamics, or materials science. Proficiency in finite volume modeling, thermal and electrical characterization of materials, and simulation software is essential. A good level of English is necessary for international collaboration.
This is a 48-month fixed-term contract, starting from 01/03/2025. The PhD will be realized alternately between IMT Nord Europe and LIST locations. Estimated salary: €34,000 - €40,000 per year.
