The Procurement Specialist will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the procurement process within Nantes Metropole. This will involve working closely with operational departments to implement the procurement process on strategic markets, ensuring transversality, and driving responsible purchasing policy as defined in the Sustainable Procurement Scheme.
Key Responsibilities- Accompanying operational departments in the procurement process, including reviewing procurement, defining needs, studying consumption, sourcing, benchmarking, and negotiation.
- Developing presentation and training materials.
- Contributing to strategic projects, such as procurement programming and public procurement IT systems.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of procurement and contract law, as well as excellent organizational and analytical skills. You should also be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
