IT & Guest Technologies - Category Expertise
Develop and propose strategic initiatives for IT & Guest Technologies categories, encompassing Core Software, ERP, Hardware, Resellers, and Cloud solutions. Formulate comprehensive sourcing strategies tailored to the aforementioned categories. Analyze market dynamics, drivers, and conduct SWOT assessments to inform category strategy. Enhance procurement offerings through deep category knowledge and expertise.Guest Technologies - Supplier Management & Market Insights
Oversee international contracts and supplier relationships within the IT & Guest Technologies sectors. Foster sustainable partnerships with key strategic suppliers. Ensure effective governance and business reviews for category suppliers. Lead supplier selection processes through RFI/RFQ methodologies. Negotiate optimal market conditions for procurement. Provide insightful business and market intelligence.Spend Management & Budget Oversight
Monitor and control expenditures related to IT & Guest Technologies to maximize category capture rates. Accountable for achieving budgetary targets and driving cost optimization initiatives. Actively promote the Group procurement functions across direct and indirect procurement. Cultivate category communities across various regions and departments. Engage in open dialogue with stakeholders to ensure alignment. Effectively advocate for solutions both internally and to external clients. Support IT savings objectives by managing projects comprehensively.Coordination of Cross-Functional Projects
Participate in initiatives focused on sustainability and marketing (e.g., zero plastic initiatives). Track and report on inflation/deflation metrics. Identify and implement strategies to enhance capture rates. Monitor key performance indicators to assess category performance and adoption. Oversee remuneration processes, including declarations, budgets, forecasts, and payments. Qualifications
As a Senior IT Procurement Specialist, you should possess:
Strong adaptability and resilience in the face of change. Proficiency in managing both direct and indirect procurement. Leadership experience at an international level within the Guest Technologies portfolio. A track record of enhancing global performance metrics (contracts, data, savings). Ability to cultivate relationships with various brands and clients to improve compliance. Leadership skills to meet internal and external customer expectations while expanding business opportunities globally. Experience in navigating market uncertainties.Additionally, the ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and experience:
A minimum of 6 years of experience in both indirect and direct procurement within an international context. Proven expertise in negotiation processes. A solid history as a Category Manager and Buyer. Familiarity with distribution, B2B, B2C, and e-commerce environments. Experience in contract management. Relevant experience in the specified categories. Hospitality industry experience is advantageous.Lastly, the candidate should demonstrate:
Strong listening skills to understand stakeholder needs. Ability to thrive in an international work environment. Excellent communication and negotiation capabilities. Influencing skills and flexibility in engaging with diverse stakeholders. High personal integrity and strong work ethics.
