**Mission Overview**
As a key member of the Engineering & Construction division at SUEZ, we are seeking a highly skilled Acheteur Affaires to join our team in France. This role will be based in Ostwald or Villenave d'Ornon and will report to the Procurement & Logistics Manager.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement procurement strategies in line with the company's overall business objectives, ensuring optimal cost savings and efficient supply chain management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders, negotiating contracts and agreements that meet the company's needs.
- Manage the procurement process from initial sourcing to final delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, and to develop innovative solutions to complex procurement challenges.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's products and services, as well as the needs of our customers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and practices.
**Requirements:**
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or a related field, preferably in the industrial or water treatment sectors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluency in English is required, with proficiency in Spanish or German being an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and customer satisfaction.
